It's been a minute since I created an easel card. I saw it fitting to feature Lupita stamp on an easel card with a faux frosted stained window.
I colored her with alcohol markers and added a bit of shimmer with a yellow glitter pen.
After coloring her, I die cut pieces of green card stock with the Rounded Stitched Rectangles, I used Memaw's Roses stencil with white chalk ink and the Ergonomic Blender Brush. Next, I die cut the red card stock with the Scallop Rectangle Dies and created a frame using the Stitched Arches Dies. The also die cut vellum to create the frosted window. I glued all the panels with E-Z Squeeze Glue.
I created red roses with the Build a Rose die set, now these were fun to assemble. I used hot glue to adhere them. The E-Z Squeeze Glue is my go-to for gluing all things paper up to 100lb card stock anything heavier like flowers, I use hot glue.
I stamped the sentiment, "que la virgencita te cuide" and used pop dots. The sentiment holds the front panel of the easel in place.
I wrapped the Lupita ribbon, trimmed using the Vintage Gold Scissors and used the E-Z Squeeze Glue to adhere
To finish the card off, I used green Glitter Enamel Dots and added red Enamel Dots to the centers of the roses.
I hope you enjoyed today's card. Have you tried creating an easel card?
